Sacramental Preparation
St. Thomas More University Parish families with children around the age of seven, who have had at least one year of ongoing faith formation and are ready to prepare for the sacraments of reconciliation and first Eucharist, will gather for Sacramental Preparation Retreats during the year.
The process of formation consists of:
- Individual family meeting with the coordinator for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS).
- Immediate preparation for the sacrament during regularly scheduled CGS sessions.
- Retreat days when children and parents together pray and reflect on their relationship with Christ. (Facilitators for retreat days are needed).
